What Are You Craving?

What do you crave at night? I’m having some serious cravings tonight. I mean it, very serious cravings. Here’s what I am almost always craving. Sometimes I crave Lo Mein from a local Chinese Restaurant called The Great Wall. I Can’t help it, I just love to eat. I Love it. But, I’ve stuck to my diet almost completely, and the changes are astonishing. I have to admit though, I cheated twice. I ate a bowl of cereal one day in the middle of the day, because, well, I like cereal. I also took the family to McDonald’s for some grease burgers and fries. I enjoyed every bite.
Other than that, I’ve been on the diet, and I have to say, I was getting quite discouraged because I thought I hadn’t lost any weight. I don’t keep a scale in the house, so I just go by the mirror and my belt. Well, my belt went down 1 loop since I started this challenge, but I still didn’t think there was any change in the way I Looked. Well, today I was at the gym and the locker I had was across from a full length mirror, and I noticed it. I noticed it so much, I had to catch myself because I just wanted to stand there and pose in the mirror instead of go workout. But that would have been odd and creepy. So, I went and worked out, and it was good.
I have to say, even though I’ve done this challenge several times before, I am always amazed at how quickly the changes take place in my body and how good I feel when I notice the changes. I just feel good. Good enough to eat some cereal, but I probably won’t. I say probably, because the jury is still out.
So, what is it that you crave at night? During the day? What is it that makes you crazy if you don’t get it? Chances are, it’s one of the things holding you back from your weight loss success.
Chime in and comment, let me know.
